Urban Encounters Workshop

Alongside the group exhibition“Concrete Jungle — Urban Animals”at Galerie Sechs in Basel, I will be leading a one-day workshop titled“Urban Encounters: Creative Urban Animal Photography”on22 November 2025.

During the workshop, we’ll explore how to see the city as a living ecosystem and photograph animals and subtle traces of nature in an urban environment. I’ll introduce creative techniques – includingIntentional Camera Movement (ICM)– to move beyond pure documentation and work with rhythm, light, and motion to create more expressive, painterly images.

The workshop takes place atGalerie Sechs, Birmannsgasse 20, 4055 Basel, from10:00 to 17:00. The number of participants is limited to keep the atmosphere personal and give everyone space for feedback and discussion. The participation fee isCHF 150.
